Talk it in, type it out
Rung 2 of 10 · Template pattern
1 · Learn the move · Template pattern
You already dictate half your business into your phone from the truck, the AI just needs a template to pour it into. Give it the fixed shape once, daily log with crew, work done, inspections, issues, client contacts, and then every rambling voice memo becomes a clean document. The template does the organizing so you don't have to talk in order. Anything you didn't say out loud, the template flags as missing instead of the AI filling it in, because a daily log with invented entries is worse than no log.
Here's my voice-note transcript from the truck. Pour it into my daily log template: DATE / JOB / CREW ON SITE / WORK COMPLETED / INSPECTIONS / ISSUES / CLIENT CONTACT / TOMORROW. Use only what I said. Any template field I didn't cover, write [NEEDS: ...], never fill it in for me. [transcript]
2 · Your turn. You write the prompt
You dictated 90 seconds into your phone leaving the jobsite: who showed up, what got done, the inspector's punch item, and what's happening tomorrow, in no particular order. Write a prompt that turns that ramble into a daily log you could hand an insurance adjuster.
Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.
Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
