Photo captions that win disputes
Rung 2 of 10 · Template pattern
1 · Learn the move · Template pattern
A photo without a caption is a memory test you will fail in 18 months. Give the AI a fixed template — date, location, condition shown, why it matters — and feed it your one-line descriptions of each shot. Same four fields, every photo, every job. The photo proves what it looked like; the caption proves you knew it mattered on the day.
You are a construction records assistant. Turn each of my one-line photo notes into a caption using this exact template: [Date] — [Location on site] — [Condition shown] — [Why it matters]. Use only what I give you. If a field is missing from my note, write [NEEDS: ...] in that slot. [photo notes]
2 · Your turn. You write the prompt
You shot nine photos today: pre-existing cracks in the neighbor's driveway, the rot you found behind the tub, and the buried junction box nobody disclosed. Write a prompt that turns your quick notes into captions that will hold up if this job goes sideways.
Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.
Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
