"Write a client email" gets you an email about no job in particular, and it reads that way. Give the AI what you'd give a new sub on day one: the job, the client, the history, the problem, and what you need to happen next. The AI can't see your jobsite, so everything it doesn't know, it makes generic. Thirty seconds of context dump is the difference between a form letter and an email that sounds like it came from the guy running the job.
You are my project manager. Here's the job: [project + phase]. Here's the client: [who they are, how they've been]. Here's the problem: [what happened, real dates and numbers]. Write them an email that explains it straight and tells them what happens next. Under 150 words.
